Benefits of Floating
The Science behind Floating
Floating can reduce the levels of the stress hormone cortisol which helps bring the body back to homeostasis. Lack of homeostasis is the cause for most common day illnesses.
The Anti-Gravity Explanation: 90% of our central nervous system is occupied by gravity. By freeing our brain and skeletal system of this pulling of gravity in the pods we can liberate most health problems like bad backs, sagging abdomens, aching feet and joint/muscle tension.
The Brain Waive Explanation: During floating there is an abundant production of theta brain waves which show to continuously produce up to three weeks after floating. Theta waves are responsible for relaxing and promoting creativity.
The Biofeedback Explanation: the natural communication between your mind and body. In a state of tranquility, you are able to focus on any part or system in the body which helps direct healing energy to that area.
